WGT — это международная встреча готической сцены. Она проходит ежегодно на Пятидесятницу примерно на 40 площадках по всему городу. Кемпинг и основная площадка расположены на южной окраине Лейпцига, на выставочной территории Agra в Маркклееберге. «Треффен» уникален в мире по своему масштабу и длительной истории. Помимо примерно 200 концертов и вечеринок, программа включает разнообразные культурные мероприятия: чтения, лекции, театр, выставки, экскурсии по музеям Лейпцига, классическую музыку, большой средневековый рынок (Heidnisches Dorf) и викторианский пикник.

The WGT is the international family gathering of the gothic scene. It takes place annually at Whitsun at around 40
venues spread across the whole city. The campsite and main venue are located on the southern outskirts of Leipzig, at the Agra exhibition grounds in Markkleeberg. The ‘Treffen’ is unique in the world in terms of its kind in this size and its long history. In addition to around 200 concerts and parties, there is again a diverse cultural programme with readings, lectures, theatre, exhibitions, guided tours of Leipzig's museums, classical music, a large medieval market (Heidnisches Dorf) and a Victorian picnic.
